Latest company news about Density melting point and physical properties of Monel K500 nickel based high-temperature alloy

MONEL K-500 alloy has corrosion resistance comparable to 400, but has higher mechanical strength and hardness. Has good heat and corrosion resistance and long-term organizational stability. Mainly used for manufacturing turbine blades and gas turbine blades on aircraft engines with operating temperatures below 750 ℃; Used for manufacturing fasteners and springs on ships; Pump and valve components on chemical equipment; Scraping blades, etc. on papermaking equipment.

Vacuum self consumption furnace remelting is the process of holding a high-temperature alloy electrode that has been melted in a vacuum without slag, using a low-pressure direct current arc as a heat source to gradually melt the self consumption electrode. The melted high-temperature alloy liquid drops into a water-cooled copper crystallizer and then solidifies into ingots. The molten droplets transition into the crystallizer through an arc zone of up to 5000K, and the high-temperature alloy liquid comes into contact with a large area of vacuum, resulting in refinement under high vacuum. The molten metal converges into a molten pool in the crystallizer, continuing to obtain vacuum refining.
